Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a Locums NP for Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery in Atlanta, GA. The assignment features 13-hour day, night, and weekend shifts with a minimum of six shifts per month, providing 24/7 coverage.

Candidates should have CVICU experience and skills listed: chest tube removal, ECMO, VAD, CVVH, transplant experience. Pediatric CVICU and stepdown coverage are also required.

Qualifications

• CVICU experience with typical patient loads and acuity.
• Experience in cardiothoracic procedures and post-op care.
• Pediatric CVICU exposure and transplant experience are valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute NP coverage in CVICU and cardiothoracic surgery.
• Cover 13-hour shifts including days, nights and weekends.

• 13-hour shifts - days, nights, and weekends (24/7 coverage)
• Minimum 6 shifts per month; flexible scheduling preferred
• CVICU: 6 patients per provider weekdays; 8-10 on nights and weekends
• Pediatric CVICU and stepdown (Acute Care Unit) coverage
• Ages seen: newborns and up
• Required: chest tube removal, ECMO, VAD, CVVH, transplant experience
• Advanced stepdown procedures performed by attendings - not required
