Job summary

Purposelink Recruitment seeks a Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine to perform interview-based assessments supporting Veteran disability claims and health documentation. The provider works within a private office and may travel for VES patient evaluations.

The role offers flexible scheduling (4-hour half days or 8-hour full days) and approx. 10 hours per week, with preference for providers who have their own office within 50 miles of their home.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required.
• 2+ years in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Orthopedic Surgery.
• AANP certification and NP or FNP licensure required.
• Own office preferred (required for VES).

Responsibilities

• Perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments.
• Conduct interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments.
• Submit Reporting/DBQs within 48 hours of exam completion.
• Complete follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions.

Required Qualifications

• Valid American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) certification
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
• • Nurse Practitioner (NP)
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Preferred: Provider has their own office (required for VES patient evaluations)

Key Responsibilities
