Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients in emergency situations
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests

• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of Washington
• Experience in emergency medicine or acute care settings preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Schedule: 6p-3a, 10p-7a, or 7a-4p

Patient Census: 8-14 per day

Case Types: Mostly medical, low trauma, and medium-high acuity

Support Staff: RNs

EMR: Epic

Must be board-certified or board-eligible
