Job summary

General Healthcare Resources seeks a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner to support an outpatient hematology/oncology clinic in Seaside, Oregon. You will collaborate with an oncologist to provide care for oncology patients in a modern clinic setting and contribute to high-quality outcomes in a scenic coastal community.

The role offers a Monday–Thursday schedule, 3–4 days per week, with 8‑hour days (10‑hour days possible). No call required; start date 12/1/2026.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license required.
• Board certification required.
• APN and AONCP certifications required.
• DEA and BLS certifications required.
• At least 1 year of hematology/oncology experience preferred.
• Current CV required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for hematology/oncology patients in an outpatient oncology clinic setting
• Manage patients in the infusion suite and support treatment coordination
• Work alongside an oncologist, with some independent patient care responsibility
• Review lab results and respond to patient questions in a timely, compassionate manner
• Partner with the navigator to triage calls and support patient flow
• Help manage the in-basket and other routine clinical communications
• Deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care without rounding responsibilities
• Contribute to a supportive, multidisciplinary healthcare team focused on excellent outcomes
