Aya Locums has an immediate locum Neurosurgery opportunity in Columbus, GA. This assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks with a start date of 11-23-26 and a daily rate of $3,500 to $4,000.

The role is for an MD/DO neurosurgeon licensed in Georgia, with on-site responsibilities at an acute care hospital. Ideal candidates will have ABNS board certification or equivalent, plus an ACGME/AOA neurosurgery residency and at least one year of clinical neurosurgery experience.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in neurosurgery accredited by ACGME or AOA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic neurosurgical procedures involving brain, spine, and peripheral nerves.
• Evaluate patients through exams, imaging, and tests to determine surgical need.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care.
• Monitor and interpret patient conditions during and after surgery, adjusting plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
