CompHealth is offering locum tenens assignments in California with inpatient neurosurgery coverage. The role includes adult neurosurgery cases, with pediatric experience preferred, and procedures such as VP shunt, ICP monitoring and spinal surgery. This opportunity provides housing and travel arrangements and comprehensive malpractice coverage.

A dedicated recruiter handles all details and credentialing. Shifts are 24-hour on-call, with 2–15 patients per shift, in a stroke-certified hospital.

Qualifications

• Neurosurgery experience required
• Pediatric neurosurgery experience preferred
• VP shunt and ICP monitor placement experience
• Spinal surgery experience beneficial
• External traction application experience

• Call only coverage with 24-hour shifts (beeper call)
