Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks an experienced nephrology physician for inpatient consults and management in a Philadelphia-area hospital. The assignment includes Friday–Monday 5pm–7am, 62-hour shifts, and 30–40 patients daily, with focus on nephrology consults, dialysis management, CRRT, renal biopsy, and catheter placement.

Fellowship-trained nephrology specialists with hospital-privileges and ability to participate in ongoing rotation blocks are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Fellowship training in nephrology required.
• Inpatient nephrology experience preferred.
• Ability to manage dialysis and CRRT.
• Experience with renal biopsies and catheter placements.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient nephrology consultations and management.
• Manage dialysis patients, CRRT, and related procedures.
• Oversee post-renal transplant patient care.
• Coordinate with hospital staff and on-call rotation.
