77 consultants is seeking an Associate-level Ob/Gyn physician for a contract on-site role to provide comprehensive women's healthcare in a supportive, patient-focused environment. You will deliver obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal care, deliveries, surgeries, and routine well-woman exams, collaborating with a team to ensure high-quality outcomes and accurate medical records.

This position requires MD/DO, board certification in OB/GYN, NC medical license, on-site work and on-call

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or eligibility.
• Active/valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.
• Experience at associate level in obstetrics and gynecology.
• Proficiency in performing OB/GYN procedures and interpreting tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients.
• Perform prenatal care, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up.
• Conduct routine well-woman exams, including Pap smears and breast exams.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders.
• Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as ultrasounds and labs.
• Counsel on family planning, contraception, and menopause management.
• Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other staff; maintain accurate records.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency coverage as needed.

This is a contract, on-site position offering an excellent opportunity for an Associate-level physician to provide comprehensive women's healthcare services in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

As a Locum Ob/Gyn Physician, you will deliver high-quality obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal care, deliveries, surgical procedures, and routine well-woman exams. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients while maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care to patients
• Perform prenatal care, deliveries, and postpartum follow-up
• Conduct routine well-woman exams, including Pap smears and breast exams
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders
• Perform surgical procedures related to obstetrics and gynecology

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Mount Airy
• Associate-level experience in obstetrics and gynecology
• Proficiency in performing obstetric and gynecological procedures
• Strong diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety
• Willingness to work on-site and participate in on-call schedules
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Preferred: Experience in locum tenens or contract-based medical practice

Schedule: 24-hour call shifts, 7 on/7 off

Annual Volume: 350 deliveries

Coverage for the ED and OB unit

Must be board-certified
