Job summary

Odyssey Locums is seeking a Locum Interventional Radiologist to work outside Lexington, KY, with 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST weekday coverage. The role combines IR procedures with diagnostic reads between cases and includes inpatient routine and stroke cases.

The assignment requires an active KY license and board certification or eligibility within 5 years, with credentialing about 90 days. Housing, travel, and tail malpractice coverage are offered.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Mon-Fri 8A-5P EST outside Lexington, KY.
• Perform IR procedures and read diagnostic exams between cases.
• Inpatient routine, stroke, and other exams; manage various procedures.

Job description

Locum IR + DX Radiologist needed outside Lexington, KY.

• Schedule: M-F 8A-5P EST
• IR plus read diagnostic exams in between procedures.
• Inpatient Routine, Other Routine, Stat, Stroke
• Productivity expectation - 55 RVU's per shift
• Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Abscess Drain, Chest Tube, Percutaneous Drain, CT/US Guided Biopsies, Arthrogram, Lumbar Puncture, Fluoro (Barium Enema, Barium Swallow, Modified Barium Swallow, Upper GI, etc.)
• IR/Fluoro - 10% / CT - 35% / MR - 5% / US - 5% / XR - 40% / If doing mammo as well - about 5%
• RPCE Tech Stack & Powerscribe 4.0
• Certification Requirements: Active KY License, Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years)
• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 Days
