Job summary

Medicus Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Florida. The position requires board certification and focuses exclusively on interventional radiology, with no diagnostic duties.

Schedule is 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays, with weeknights and weekend beeper on-call. Daily volume is 8–10 cases, covering vascular interventions, embolization, biopsies, and related IR procedures. Travel and lodging are provided.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in radiology with IR specialization.
• IR-only role; no diagnostic radiology.
• Weekday schedule 7a–4p with on-call beeper nights/weekends.
• Daily volume 8–10 cases.
• Bread-and-butter body IR; no neuro.
• Proficient in vascular interventions, embolization, biopsies, and related IR procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term locum tenens interventional radiology coverage.
• Perform vascular interventions, embolizations, biopsies, and oncologic IR procedures.
• Manage venous access and related IR tasks.
• Maintain patient safety and documentation per hospital protocols.
