Curative seeks an Interventional Radiologist for long-term locum coverage in California with a predictable clinic-day schedule and Level I trauma call in weeklong blocks. The role averages one call-in per week and supports a busy IR service.

Work spans inpatient and outpatient IR with a focus on adult cases. Staffing includes IR nurses and technologists, with resident support, and typical daily volume of 10–16 cases, including several complex procedures.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (required).
• California medical license required, will not wait for license.
• Board certified or board eligible within 5 years.
• Board certifications include Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology; Fluoroscopy certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level I trauma IR coverage with a defined case mix and resident support.
• Perform nephrostomy tubes, biopsies, drainages.
• Place dialysis catheters and perform occasional PE thrombectomies.
• Manage non-emergency end-of-day cases to discourage overtime.
