Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking an interventional radiology physician for a locum tenens assignment in North Dakota. The role features an 8 am to 3 pm orientation shift with standard shifts starting at 8 am.

You will perform 10–15 procedures daily with an average of 1 emergency callback. The position requires stroke capability and general IR experience, with angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolytic therapy included.

Qualifications

• IR physicians must have interventional radiology experience and stroke capability.
• Proficiency in angiography, angioplasty, stenting, and thrombolytic therapy is required.
• Procedural skills include embolization, TIPS, IVC filters, and PICC placement.
• Experience with biopsies, drainage, central lines, and port-a-cath procedures is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interventional radiology procedures in a hospital-based setting.
• Respond to emergencies and callbacks as needed.
• Work with Weatherby Healthcare on locum tenens assignments.
• Maintain board certification and professional standards.
