Job summary

MD Staff Pointe seeks an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens assignment at a 413-bed East-Central Minnesota hospital. You’ll join a Level I Trauma Center and thrombectomy-capable stroke center, focusing on IR procedures with no diagnostic reads, in an inpatient hospital setting.

Typical schedule is 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with overnight pager call; average case volume is about 10 per weekday and 6 per weekend day.

Qualifications

• IR board eligibility or board certification.
• Completion of an accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology with IR fellowship.
• Active Minnesota medical license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general Interventional Radiology coverage.
• Perform cerebral embolectomy procedures as needed.
• Administer moderate sedation as appropriate.
• Collaborate with referring physicians and hospital staff to coordinate patient care.
