Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare in California is seeking a cardiologist for a hospital-based assignment. The role includes a Monday–Friday clinic from 8 am to 5 pm with 24-hour call coverage and a weekend on-call rotation (Fri–Mon, 7 am–7 am, three shifts).

Expected workload includes about 12 patients per day in clinic, 24/7 STEMI call coverage, echocardiography, stress tests and ECG interpretation, plus inpatient and ED cardiac consultations; typical ER emergent cases are around two per week.

Responsibilities

• Clinic: Mon - Fri, 8 am - 5 pm with 24-hour call coverage.
• Weekend on-call: Fri - Mon, 7 am - 7 am, 3 shifts per weekend.
• Clinic volume: approx. 12 patients per day.
• 24/7 STEMI call coverage required.
• Echo, stress test, and ECG interpretation required.
• Inpatient and ED cardiac consultation experience required.
• Avg 2 emergent ER cases per week.
