Job summary
Aya Locums is seeking a locum Interventional Cardiology Physician for an immediate assignment in Eureka, CA. This 13-week engagement starts 11-21-26 with a 24-hour on‑call schedule (07:00–07:00) and standard 4‑shift blocks.
Requirements include MD/DO, ABIM or AOA board certification in cardiology, and an interventional fellowship, with CA medical licensure. You will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, coordinate care, review tests, and document care; Aya provides credentialing,
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Residency in internal medicine with ACGME/AOA.
- Fellowship in cardiology with interventional training.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, catheterizations).
- Provide comprehensive evaluation and management of cardiovascular patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans.
- Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
- Address acute cardiovascular emergencies and complications.
- Maintain detailed medical records.
