Job summary

Palm Careers seeks an experienced Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a 7 on/7 off locum assignment in Charlotte, NC. The role covers general inpatient cardiology duties including consults, floor calls, heart failure, EP and interventional care within a STEMI facility.

Starting August 2025 for four months, the position requires NC licensure and is based on a 2200–0800 night schedule. Travel expenses are covered and compensation is paid on a 1099 basis using EPIC for the medical record.

Qualifications

• NC licensed NP with cardiology inpatient experience.
• Night shift coverage, 7 on/7 off schedule.
• Experience with STEMI facilities and EP/interventional care.

Responsibilities

• Perform general inpatient cardiology duties: consults, floor calls, HF, EP, and interventional care.
• Support STEMI team on night shifts and coordinate patient care.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and orders.

We are hiring an experienced LOCUM for an Inpatient Cardiology Nurse Practitioner role in Charlotte, North Carolina (NC). Our need start in August 2025 and runs through the remainder of 2025. Come and experience Charlotte, NC and work in a 7 on / 7 off capacity performing general inpatient cardiology duties, including consults, floor calls, HF, EP, and interventional as well in our STEMI facility.

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off

Hours: 2200 - 0800

Length of Assignment: 4 months

EMR: EPIC

Must Be North Carolina licensed!!

1099 compensation, travel covered as well.
