Job summary

GLOBAL MEDICAL STAFFING seeks an Infectious Disease physician for a locum tenens assignment in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient care with 9-hour weekday shifts and patient loads of 20–30 per shift. Vascular access device and central venous catheter management are required, along with BLS certification.

Two positions are available. Competitive compensation, pre‑paid travel and housing, malpractice coverage, licensing assistance and NALTO membership are provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage vascular access devices and central venous catheters.
• Provide care in inpatient and outpatient Infectious Disease settings.
• Work Mon–Fri, 8 am–5 pm (9-hour shifts).
• Handle 20–30 patients per shift.
