Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a locum physician for inpatient ICU coverage in New Mexico. The assignment runs long-term (1 year with option to extend) with day shifts 7:30 am - 7:30 pm, 7 on / 7 off, and 14 shifts per month.

Required: ICU experience with vent management and procedures, including bipap/cpap, high flow nasal cannula, and central line placement. Preferred: paracentesis, LP, thoracentesis. Housing and travel are arranged, malpractice coverage provided, and credentialing is simplified.

Qualifications

• ICU experience with vent management and procedures required.
• Bipap/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and central line placement required.
• Long-term assignment with reliable availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient wards including ICU coverage.
• Manage admissions and provide critical care support.
• Coordinate with nursing and respiratory staff during shifts.
