Job summary

Aya Locums is hiring a Hematology/Oncology physician for an immediate locum assignment in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The position is a 13-week engagement with a standard 5 × 9-hour shift, no-call coverage, and a schedule of 08:00–17:00.

Compensation is $450–$500 per hour, with travel and credentialing support provided. Requirements include MD or DO, ABIM/AOBIM board certification, Missouri license, and fellowship in Hem/Onc.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency training in internal medicine (ACGME or AOA).
• Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and cancers, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with specialists.
• Consult with other physicians on complex hematological and oncological cases.
• Educate patients about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Conduct follow-up visits and monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
