Job summary

77 consultants seeks an Associate-level Locum Hematology-Oncology MD for an on-site contract in California. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patients with hematologic disorders and cancer in an outpatient setting, collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities include chemotherapy administration, test interpretation, and patient education, with no call requirements and paid travel/expenses. Board-eligible or board-certified candidates are required.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification or eligibility in Hematology Oncology.
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Associate-level experience in Hematology Oncology.
• ACLS and DEA required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat hematologic and oncologic conditions.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (blood work, imaging).
• Administer and monitor chemotherapy and other regimens.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient medical records.
• Provide patient education regarding diagnosis and treatment options.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Participate in clinical rounds and case discussions.
• Ensure compliance with medical practice standards and regulations.
