Job summary

Medicus has partnered with a state-of-the-art cancer center in northern Georgia to provide Hematologist-Oncologist locum tenens coverage. The role features outpatient duties at a Level II trauma center, with a patient volume of 18–20 per day and a structured call schedule.

The position requires board certification, with travel and expenses paid. Epic EMR is used for documentation and there is support from a dedicated travel team and recruiters.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Hematology/Medical Oncology required.
• Board certification in specialty required.
• Locum tenens experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide locum tenens hematologist-oncologist coverage in outpatient setting.
• Deliver care at a Level II trauma center.
• Manage patient volume of 18–20 patients per day.
• Be on call 4 days per month, including 2 weekend days.
• Utilize Epic EMR for charting and orders.
