Aya Locums in Lewisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Hematology/Oncology physician for an immediate locum position. The assignment is for 13 weeks with a 5, 8-Hour 08:00 - 16:30 schedule and on-call optional, paying $450 to $500 per hour.

Start date is 10-12-26 and duties include evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of hematologic and oncologic conditions. The ideal candidate holds MD or DO, board certification, Pennsylvania license, and has fellowship in Hem/Onc; prior locum experience is

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine with ACGME or AOA accreditation.
• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat patients with blood disorders and cancers.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and manage side effects.
• Consult with other physicians and coordinate care with healthcare teams.
• Educate patients about diagnoses and treatment options.
• Conduct regular follow-up visits and maintain patient records.
