Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens physician for inpatient GI coverage. Shifts are Mon–Sun, 8 am–5 pm with 7-day call availability. Responsibilities include ERCP and EUS procedures, colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes in a higher-acuity GI population.

The role includes supervision of Advanced Practice Providers and prepaid travel and housing, with competitive compensation and 24-hour Weatherby consultant support.

Qualifications

• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required
• Colonoscopy, liver biopsy, and Sengstaken/Blakemore tube management required
• 7-day call coverage available

Responsibilities

• Inpatient GI practice with high-acuity patient population
• Supervision of Advanced Practice Providers required
• Locum tenens assignment with travel and housing support
• Coverage from Monday to Sunday, 8 am–5 pm with 7-day call as needed
