77 consultants is seeking a locum General Surgeon to provide on-site surgical care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role includes performing general procedures, pre- and post-operative assessments, and close collaboration with anesthesiology and nursing teams.

The ideal candidate holds an MD with General Surgery residency, active US license, and board eligibility or certification. Previous locum or contract experience is preferred; EHR proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completed residency in General Surgery.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Perform general surgical procedures per clinical standards.
• Conduct pre-operative evaluations.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor recovery.
• Diagnose and manage surgical conditions across patient needs.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation.
• Participate in case discussions and care planning.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety guidelines.
• Communicate with patients and families about diagnoses and outcomes.
• Support continuity of care during coverage periods.
