Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a hospital-based physician in Wisconsin for ED call with potential clinic duties. Expect 8–10 patients per day in a hospital setting, performing general surgery procedures including hernia repair and appendectomy, with laparoscopy and endoscopy capabilities. No trauma cases are expected.

Board certified or board eligible is required. We offer weekly pay, complimentary housing and travel, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and streamlined credentialing.

Qualifications

• Board certified or board eligible as required.
• Experience in general surgery procedures in a hospital setting.
• Ability to perform laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide ED call coverage.
• Perform general surgery procedures (hernia repair, appendectomy).
• Conduct laparoscopy and endoscopy as appropriate.
• No trauma cases expected within assignment.
