Aya Locums in Tomball, TX seeks a General Dentist for an immediate locum assignment. The position runs 10 weeks with standard 5-day weeks and 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.

The ideal candidate holds a DDS or DMD, active Texas license, and a current BLS certification, with at least one year of practice. You will perform exams, create treatment plans, and execute procedures including root canals and preventive care.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive oral health assessments and diagnose dental conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform fillings, extractions, root canals, crowns and bridges.
• Provide preventive care and oral hygiene education.
• Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants; maintain records.
