Job summary

Smile Brands Inc. is seeking a locum dentist to provide high-quality patient care with autonomy. Schedule is m-f and varies by office; travel expenses are covered.

You will conduct examinations, diagnose and plan treatments, educate patients, and lead teams to coordinate care. Benefits include malpractice insurance, health/dental/vision, HSA, life and disability coverage, a 401k, and access to CE opportunities. Sponsorship is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited school.
• Active state dental license, CPR Certification, and DEA License (or in process of obtaining).
• Controlled Substance License (if required by the state).
• Legally authorized to work in the US. Sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health.
• Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.
• Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments.
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.
