Job summary

Cihealthgroup is seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist for locum tenens coverage in Baton Rouge, LA. The role combines clinic and hospital duties with a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and a daily rate of $2,800.

Inpatient care, rounds, consultations, and meaningful triage across services, with hospital service weeks every 5–6 weeks. Start in November; minimum 3 months, 3 weeks per month; travel, lodging, and malpractice are covered.

Qualifications

• BC/BE General Cardiologist; active supervising license.
• Minimum 3 months coverage, 3 weeks per month.
• Availability start: November; locum coverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care and rounding, consultations, multidisciplinary rounds.
• Reading hospital diagnostic studies during service week; clinic visits.
• Diagnostic review, patient follow-up and care coordination.
