Aya Healthcare is seeking a General Cardiologist for a locum tenens assignment near Madison, Wisconsin. The position is part-time with an expected 8–12 weeks of coverage, starting December/January. Typical hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with inpatient rounding and consults; a night call from 5 PM to 7 AM and 24-hour weekend coverage is required.

EPC EMR is used, with support from 3 APPs. Board-certified cardiology clinicians with ACLS and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Cardiology board certification is required.
• ACLS and BLS certification are required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding and consults from 8 am to 5 pm.
• Possible clinic duties as needed.
• Night call 5 pm–7 am and 24 hr weekend call.
• Support of 3 APPs.
• Volume can fluctuate; EPC EMR used.
