Job summary

CompHealth is seeking locum physicians for inpatient GI coverage in a setting requiring admissions and patient rounding. The role includes performing procedures such as upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy.

Typical shifts are 13–14 patients per day with nightly after-hours call coverage. Housing, travel, and malpractice coverage are arranged, and credentialing is streamlined for quick onboarding.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy credentials required for inpatient settings.
• Experience with ERCP, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy preferred.
• Ability to manage complex GI procedures in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient admissions and patient rounding are required.
• Perform upper GI endoscopy, ERCP, colonoscopy, and liver biopsy.
• Handle 13–14 patients per shift with after-hours call coverage.
• Provide continuity of care and coordinate with hospital teams.
