Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks an experienced Gastroenterologist to provide inpatient GI coverage at a high-acuity facility in Oklahoma City, OK. This locum-tenens assignment begins in September and continues ongoing with two weeks per month on-site coverage.

The role features a day shift (7:00 AM–5:00 PM), no call, and collaboration with two APPs. Board certification in Gastroenterology is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
• Inpatient gastroenterology coverage with day shift 7:00–17:00.
• Assignment starts September and runs 2 weeks per month ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI coverage on a day shift at an on-site Oklahoma City facility.
• Manage an average census of 20–30 patients and 7–10 new consults per day.
• Perform 6–12 GI procedures daily with 2 APPs on site.
• No call coverage required.
