Job summary

Aya Locums in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking an experienced locum Electrophysiology physician for an acute care hospital assignment. The role offers a 13 week assignment with start on 12/21/26 and shifts from 07:00 to 17:00, five days a week.

Compensation is $325–$400 per hour, with travel and credentialing support provided by Aya Locums. The physician will diagnose and manage complex arrhythmia cases, perform EPS and ablations, and oversee device implantations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Residency in internal medicine (ACGME/AOA).
• Fellowship in clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
• ABIM cardiovascular disease board certification.
• Active and unrestricted Arizona medical license.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat electrical heart abnormalities such as arrhythmias.
• Perform EPS, catheter ablations and device implantations.
• Manage patients with implanted cardiac devices and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and cardiac surgeons for patient care.
• Provide emergency care for life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Maintain accurate medical records.

Education
