Job summary

Optigy Group is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for locum tenens coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Harlingen, Texas. The facility handles approximately 49,500 annual ED visits with an average of 136 encounters per day and offers multiple shift options with APP support.

Providers must be willing to complete cross-credentialing at additional nearby facilities and meet all licensing and credentialing requirements, including ATLS/PALS and Texas licensure before presentation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM or ABOEM, or board-eligible with required certifications.
• Active ATLS and PALS certifications are required.
• Active, unrestricted Texas medical license in hand before presentation.
• Texas state license or IMLC participation with Texas license in hand before presentation.
• Active Texas DEA registration in hand before presentation.
• State CSR must be active and in hand before presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Medicine coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Harlingen, TX.
• Participate in cross-credentialing at nearby facilities as needed.
• Support from APP during designated shifts.
• Adherence to credentialing and compliance requirements.
