Job summary

Cerner EMR is used for documentation. Requirements include an active NC license, BC/BE in EM, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine, NC DEA, and ACLS/PALS/ATLS (if not ABEM).

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine.
• Active NC license required.
• Active NC DEA license required.
• ACLS, PALS, ATLS required (if not ABEM).
• Recent graduates accepted.
• Comfort with full-scope ED privileges.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department care for all patient presentations.
• Manage patient care independently during shifts.
• Collaborate with NP/PA support staff.
• Coordinate care with available specialty services.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR.

Education

Board certified (or BE) in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
