Adelphi Medical Staffing seeks an experienced Emergency Medicine physician for locum tenens coverage in Grenada, Mississippi. You will provide emergency care for acute conditions, perform ED procedures, and help stabilize patients. The role offers about 8 shifts per month to meet urgent coverage needs and requires active MS license with DEA.

Board eligibility varies; ACLS, PALS and ATLS are required with ABEM exempt. Crim background checks and immunizations are expected as part of privileges.

Qualifikationen

• Board certification not required but must have completed a 3-year residency; boards accepted: EM, FP/FM, IM
• Active, unrestricted Mississippi license required at presentation; DEA with Mississippi address required
• ACLS, PALS & ATLS required; ABEM exempt
• Criminal background check required prior to privileges; immunizations as listed

Aufgaben

• Provide emergency medical care to patients in the ED, treating acute conditions and stabilizing patients
• Perform procedures consistent with emergency medicine training (e.g., intubation, suturing, central lines) as required
• Work approximately 8 shifts per month to meet urgent coverage needs
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records, adhering to facility and regulatory standards
