Job summary

GHR Healthcare seeks a Doctor of Medicine specializing in Emergency Medicine for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Manchester, NH. The Level III trauma center handles about 80 ED patients daily and offers strong clinical support as 27 hours of AP coverage daily.

Shifts are 12 hours, rotating days and nights, 36 hours per week, with no on-call requirements. Start date is January 27, 2027, with end date April 21, 2027. Board-certified EM physicians with NH licensure are requested.

Qualifications

• Boarded in Emergency Medicine.
• Active New Hampshire medical licensure and credentials required for clinical practice.
• Temporary privileges may be available.
• Completion of required credentialing, case-log review, and hospital privileges.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Manage a broad range of emergency conditions and Level III trauma cases.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide coverage for scheduled day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Complete appropriate medical documentation and coordinate patient disposition and follow-up care.
• Participate in a shadow day and electronic medical record training unless already familiar with the system.
