Job summary

Optigy Group currently has a locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity in the Laredo, Texas area. The physician will work in a high-volume ED with 12-hour shifts and 48 hours of physician coverage daily, supported by AI scribe technology and robust subspecialty backup.

Board-certified EM physicians with Texas licensure, DEA, and ABEM credentials are encouraged to apply. ACLS, PALS, and ATLS verifications are required, with cross-credentialing across three ED locations in the Laredo

Qualifications

• Active Texas medical license required.
• Active DEA registration required.
• Board certification by ABEM required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS certification required.
• ATLS verification required (once in career).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume emergency medicine coverage in a community ED.
• Participate in cross-credentialing at multiple ED locations within the Laredo area.
• Utilize ambient/AI scribe technology for documentation when available.
