Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate locum Emergency Medicine opening in Dickson, TN. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with start date 11-01-26 and a pay rate of $260–$285 per hour. Shift coverage is scheduled with no call, and shifts are 19:00–07:00 with flexibility.

Physician candidates should hold MD or DO degrees and board certification in emergency medicine or related fields, with Tennessee licensure preferred. The facility is a Float Pool; travel and lodging may be provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in emergency, internal or family medicine by a recognized board.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and comprehensive medical care to ED patients with emergencies.
• Conduct thorough assessments, history, exam, and diagnostics.
• Stabilize patients with life-threatening conditions and implement plans.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed and interpret tests.
• Prescribe meds, manage pain, and communicate with care teams.
• Document care accurately and maintain professional demeanor.
