Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks an Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing locum coverage at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. The assignment supports a Level II trauma center with EPs and supporting staff.

The role requires BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Tennessee licensure with active DEA/CDS, and privilege oversight of NPs/PAs. ACLS/ATLS/PALS/NRP credentials vary by certification status, with CME mandated for credentialing.

Qualifications

• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine as required by the facility.
• Active Tennessee medical license and DEA with a Tennessee address.
• Active DEA and CDS (Schedules II–V) required.
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS (if not BC in EM), NRP (if non-ABEM).
• Residency trained in Emergency Medicine; new graduates considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine services in a Level II trauma center with substantial patient volume.
• Supervise and direct the work of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
• Manage acute medical, surgical, and trauma cases in a busy ED environment.
• Maintain active licensure, DEA, and required certifications including ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable.
• Comply with credentialing and privileging requirements, including case logs and CME documentation.
