Job summary

Optigy Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum coverage in Louisiana. The position covers a Level III ED with approximately 28,000 annual visits, a 15-bed ED, and a 149-bed hospital, with dedicated NP/PA support and Epic EMR.

New graduates are welcomed, and ongoing locum coverage opportunities exist. Candidates must hold an active LA medical license or IMLC and be board-certified in EM, FM, or IM.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with emergency medicine training and board certification.
• Active LA license or IMLC required for licensure.
• DEA license with Louisiana address must be active.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour physician coverage in a Level III ED.
• Collaborate with APPs to ensure continuous patient care.
• Maintain compliance with credentialing and state requirements.
