Job summary

77 consultants seeks a clinician to provide sole coverage in the Emergency Department and inpatient floor at a Critical Access Hospital. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of autonomous Emergency Medicine experience and proficiency in all ED and inpatient procedures.

Shifts are 24 hours on-site with handoffs between 12 PM and 3 PM; on-site lodging is available to support this schedule. Telemedicine support in cardiology, pulmonology, and infectious diseases is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years practicing autonomously in Emergency Medicine.
• Proficiency in all procedures relevant to the ED and inpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Cover the Emergency Department and inpatient floor with no outpatient duties.
• Perform 24‑hour on‑site shifts and participate in 12–15 hours of active work per shift plus night call.
• Coordinate handoffs during shift changes to ensure continuity of care.
