Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) As a crucial member of our anesthesiology department, you will play a vital role in providing anesthesia services to patients. You will be involved in a variety of projects, working closely with our medical team to ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety. Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia before, during, and after medical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to anesthesia administration.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures in the administration of anesthesia.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.
• Stay updated on advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

• Valid CRNA certification and state licensure.

Schedule: 7a-3p

Beeper Call Shifts: 3p-7a, every 4th night and 4th weekend

Case Types: General, endo, OB, GYN, orthopedics, and limited acute pain management

Spinals and epidurals required

Team Structure: 4 CRNAs per day

Must be board-certified
