Job summary

Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Suffolk, VA. Pay is $240–$250/hour for a 13-week assignment starting 10-26-26, with 19:00–07:00, 10-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include preoperative assessment, intraoperative anesthesia, postoperative pain management and collaboration with surgical teams. Aya Locums offers credentialing support, travel and lodging coverage, malpractice coverage and 24/7 assignment assistance.

Qualifications

• MSN or DNP from an accredited CRNA program.
• Active Virginia APRN license.
• NBCRNA certification.
• Prefer at least 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgery, including preoperative assessment, intraoperative management and postoperative pain control.
• Collaborate with surgeons and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia plans as needed.
• Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Stay current with advancing anesthesia practices through continuing education.
