Job summary

77 consultants is seeking an anesthesia locum to cover hospital cases in Wyoming, with blocks and epidurals, and a schedule of 7am to 3pm, Monday through Friday. Start is contingent on credentialing, with ongoing coverage through 2026–2027, in Casper and Douglas.

Candidates must hold a Wyoming license or be eligible, and have CRNA or MD anesthesia credentials. On-site support includes CRNAs and MDAs, with independent work during on-call periods.

Qualifications

• Active Wyoming medical license or eligibility.
• CRNA or MD with anesthesia board certification.
• Experience with regional anesthesia techniques (blocks/epidurals) and obstetric anesthesia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adult patients with a focus on trauma and obstetrics.
• Perform regional anesthesia techniques, including blocks and epidurals.
• Collaborate with CRNAs and other anesthesia staff; operate as LIPs during on-call periods.
• Ensure patient safety and manage perioperative care within 7am–3pm shifts.
