Job summary

77 Consultants is seeking a Locum CRNA in Maine to deliver high-quality anesthesia care in a dynamic medical practice setting. You will work with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure safe perioperative care for a diverse case mix.

Responsibilities include administering general, regional, and local anesthesia, preoperative assessments, airway management, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative pain control. Travel and expenses are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• Current CRNA certification and active RN license in Maine.
• Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications; PALS preferred.]

Responsibilities

• Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases
• Conduct preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia plans
• Monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia delivery during procedures
• Manage airway assessment, intubation, and ventilation
• Respond to intraoperative complications and emergencies
• Provide postoperative pain management and recovery coordination
• Document anesthesia records and ensure compliance with standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize outcomes
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies
• Participate in quality improvement and continuing education activities
