Job summary

CompHealth is assisting with a locum tenens opportunity in Indiana for a skilled CVT specialist. The assignment involves 24-hour call with at least two weeks of continuous coverage per month, and both inpatient and outpatient rounding across a busy schedule.

Expect 10–15 patients per shift and approximately 20 phone consults in a 24-hour period. The role requires open and endoscopic CVT procedures along with ACC/AHA-related case experience (CABG, valve repair, TAVR, LVAD, pacemaker).

Qualifications

• CVT skillset required — open and endoscopic procedures.
• CABG, valvular repair, TAVR, LVAD, and pacemaker placement required.
• Lung resection, chest wall, esophagus, and diaphragm procedures required.
• Congenital defect repair — ASD, VSD, PFO experience required.

Responsibilities

• 24-hour call -- 2 weeks minimum continuously per month.
• 10 - 15 patients seen per shift with 10 admissions.
• Both inpatient and outpatient rounding required.
• Average 20 phone consults per 24-hour period.
