Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing, LLC seeks a board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum coverage in Hilton Head Island, SC. The role requires performing complex open and off-pump procedures with inpatient care and post-operative management.

Coverage is 24-hour call with 30-minute response, Sep 25 2026 to Dec 28 2026; travel, lodging, and malpractice are provided. Eligible physicians must hold SC medical licensure and board certification to apply.

Qualifications

• Board certification (BC) required.
• Licensed to practice medicine in SC.

Responsibilities

• Perform coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) and off-pump bypass procedures
• Conduct valvular repair and replacement surgeries
• Manage lung resections and other thoracic surgical procedures
• Handle emergency cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases
• Provide post-operative critical care and hemodynamic monitoring
