Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks a Locum Tenens Cardiologist for a full-time assignment in Washington. The position requires outpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage, including ICU duties, with on-call every two weeks.

Expect 7 am–5 pm clinic hours, Monday through Friday, and roughly 15 patients per shift. The assignment is long-term and involves both ambulatory and hospital responsibilities, with Weatherby handling malpractice, travel, and housing arrangements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology required.
• Invasive cardiology and cardiac catheterization preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient cardiology coverage.
• ICU coverage required.
• On-call duties two weeks per month.
• See approximately 15 patients per shift.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8-hour clinic shifts (7 am–5 pm).
