Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum cardiologist in South Carolina. On-site duties include nuclear stress testing and TEE, with a M–F schedule and some call and weekend coverage. Rounds start at 7:30 am, including unit rounds and clinic, and about 20 patients are seen daily.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required. The assignment includes paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24-hour consultant access through Weatherby’s portal.

Qualifications

• General cardiology skills including nuclear and TEE.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Nuclear stress testing performed on-site.

Responsibilities

• M - F schedule with some call and weekends.
• Rounds begin at 7:30 am -- includes unit rounding and clinic.
• Approximately 20 patients per day.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.
• 24-hour access to Weatherby Healthcare consultant.
