Job summary

All Star Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Breast Imaging Radiologist for Locum coverage in Tennessee. The role focuses on dedicated breast imaging with a typical M-F schedule from 8:00 to 4:30, 30 minutes for lunch; a 4-day week is also possible.

Daily volume averages 50-60 studies, including 20-30 screening exams and 20-25 diagnostic interactions. Required duties include screening/diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound (DX/US), and tomosynthesis; breast MRI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Breast imaging focus with emphasis on screening and diagnostic studies.
• Experience with mammography and breast ultrasound.
• Familiarity with breast MRI is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated breast imaging interpretation (screening/diagnostic).
• Participate in tumor board Thursday mornings at 7:00.
• Perform and/or supervise 2D/3D tomosynthesis (Tomo) as available.

• Expect screening and DX mammograms as well asscreen and DX US, Breast-MR, and 2D and 3D Tomo
• Breast MR and procedures are preferred (but not required)
• Breast CT was here for trials, but is not required, if you do it, it's a plus
• Daily volume per physician averages 50-60 of which 20-30 are screens, and 20-25 interactions
• Willing to consider Locum-to-Perm if you are interested
